First print on DTF PreTreat Sheets (using textile ink using a DTG machine), cover the printed matter with DTF Transfer powder, and then heat press it onto clothing or textiles. When transferring to WHITE textiles, you can print with COLOR, or when transferring to DARK / BLACK textiles, you can print one layer of COLOR and then one layer of WHITE.
But if the purpose of DTG is Direct To Garment by definition and you want to introduce a transfer sheet using DTF Transfer, what is the purpose of DTF transfer?
Traditional transfer printing has been around for a long time and is especially used in the thermal transfer or sublimation printing market. So what are the benefits of DTF forwarding? There are actually some, and they are important.
DTF transfer allows transfer to a dark shirt (with white DTG ink)-what normal heat transfer cannot do
DTF transfer makes it highly breathable, smooth to the touch and flexible. This is not possible with normal heat transfer.
With DTF transfer, you do not need to crop the image during transfer. This is not possible with normal heat transfer.
DTG TRANFER will be a brighter color than heat transfer
Now, the above shows the substantial advantage that DTF transfer is superior to thermal transfer (or sublimation).
